Add a rustic touch to your table with DIY pride and stain wood plate chargers for your guests. Wood stain is easy to apply and enhances the wood's natural beauty.
- Lightly sand the wood plate chargers with #220 grit sandpaper to remove any rough spots, then wipe clean with a tack cloth.
- Using a lint-free cloth, apply a generous amount of wood stain to the wood charger. Wait 2-3 minutes before wiping off excess stain in the direction of the wood grain.
- Set the plate charger aside and let dry for 1 hour per instructions on the can.
- An optional top coat of polyurethane can be applied to protect your wood chargers from scratches.
