It's your wedding day, why not put your touch on the guest tables with wood stain candle holders? This easy DIY project can be done quickly with Varathane Fast Dry Wood Stain. Find your favorite stain color and coordinate your table settings.
- Lightly sand the wood candlesticks with #220 grit sandpaper to remove any rough spots, then wipe clean with a tack cloth.
- Using a lint-free cloth, apply a generous amount of wood stain to the candlesticks. Wait 2-3 minutes before wiping off excess stain in the direction of the wood grain.
- Set the candlesticks aside and let dry for 1 hour per instructions on the can.
- Optional top coat of Polyurethane can be applied to protect your candlesticks from scratches.
