Personalize your wedding dinner menu when you write it on your own framed chalkboard. This simple DIY project can be created with dramatic results for your big day.

PREPARE: Make sure the workable hardboard surface is clean and dry. Shake the spray paint for one minute until the metal ball rattles. Start with Ultra Cover 2X Primer Spray. Allow primer to dry for one hour and then use the Specialty Chalk Board spray.

APPLY: Spread out your drop cloth in the are you plan to work in. Then start spraying in slow and steady, back-and-forth motions slightly overlapping each one for 2-3 light, even coats, until it is fully covered.

FINISH: Allow paint to dry for 24 hours. Prepare surface by rubbing side of chalk on entire surface and erase.
