  • Tools & Supplies:

  1. Sand the tool chest thoroughly to remove all rust.
  2. Drill new holes for the towel bar, shelf, and wine glass racks.
  3. Prime the entire chest (inside and out) with black Rust-Oleum® Universal® Flat Spray Paint.
  4. Using Rust-Oleum Universal Spray Paint in your desired colors, paint the rest of the tool chest.Each drawer may be a different color, like we did here. Allow the chest to dry for at least 24 hours.
  5. Spray the chest with Rust-Oleum® Stops Rust® Crystal Clear Enamel to protect its surface.
  6. Attach a towel bar, glass racks, and fold-down shelf.
  7. Put contact paper in the drawers and on the back, inside wall of the tool chest.
  8. Affix a chalkboard decal to the front door of the chest.
  9. Stock with drinks and snacks.
  10. Party time!
