A spray painted wooden chair is an easy way to add a pop of color to your workspace.
PREPARE: Choose a well-ventilated workspace and cover the floor with a drop cloth to protect it from overspray. Sand the chair lightly to remove any previous topcoat. Wipe the chair with a lint-free cloth.
PAINT: Shake your can of Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint (we used Satin Midnight Blue) for 1 minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Hold the can 10-16” away from the chair and spray in a steady, back-and-forth motion. Apply 2-3 light coats a few minutes apart.
FINISH: Let the spray paint dry for 1 hour to the touch and completely for 24 hours before using your newly painted wooden chair.
TIP: Use of a primer and topcoat provides added protection and longer-lasting color. We recommend 2X Ultra Cover Primer in White and Clear Topcoat.
