It's easy to upgrade your home office space. In just a few hours, you can have a bright, new, coordinated area to do your best work. Painting is an easy DIY to refresh a desk and some accessories.
DESK: First, place the desk on a drop cloth. Remove all hardware on the desk with a screwdriver and set them aside.
Genty stir the Milk Paint Finish with a stir stick and apply it do the dresser with a high-quality paint brush using a "V" pattern of brush strokes. Let the paint dry for approximately 30-60 minutes. Apply a second coat of paint, if needed, after 1 hour. Let paint dry for approximately 1 hour before handling.
ACCESSORIES: While your desk paint dries, clean your accessories and use painter's tape to cover any parts of the accessories that you don't want to spray paint. Place each item on a drop cloth.
Shake your can of spray paint for one minute after the mixing ball releases. Hold your can of spray paint 8-12" from the surface and apply light coats of spray paint, waiting a few minutes between each coat to ensure even coverage. Let the spray paint dry for 1 hour before handling and a full 24 hours before use.
