Spray paint your way to a patio set that looks brand new! Give your wooden patio furniture a fresh look with Rust-Oleum Universal Gloss Spray Paint. See how this easy and affordable DIY project can give your patio an updated look.
- Make sure your patio furniture is clean and dry. Sand off any loose paint. Wipe the furniture with a lint-free cloth to remove any remaining dust or dirt.
- Over a drop cloth, shake the spray paint can vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Slide off the red safety clip from the trigger. Start spraying in a steady, back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can the same distance from the surface and in motion while spraying. Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart.
- For best results, apply several light coats versus one heavy coat. Allow the spray paint to dry thoroughly for approximately 1 hour before handling the furniture.
