  1. Obtain discarded plastic lawn chairs. Mine were sitting next to a dumpster.
  2. Scrub off any dirt or debris and rinse with a garden hose. Allow to dry.
  3. Place one of the chairs on a drop cloth (if desired) and apply your chosen color of Rustoleum spray paint. Repeat with as many chairs as you need to paint. The first coat will look blotchy.
  4. Allow to dry for at least 8 hours.
  5. Repeat with a second coat. Allow to dry, then go over any patches that need more paint.
  6. Enjoy your good-as-new lawn chairs!
