Plastic Garden Display Dish
Stylish fall table décor is easy and affordable when you paint a dollar store plastic garden dish and glass candle holder with Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Universal Bonding Primer and Stops Rust MultiColor Textured Spray Paint in Caribbean Sand! See how Carol Heppner created this fall centerpiece.
- Make sure your garden dish and candle holder are clean and completely dry.
- Working in a well-ventilated space, apply Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Universal Bonding Primer according to the directions on the can.
- Shake your can of Rust-Oleum Stops Rust MultiColor Textured Spray Paint for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Hold the can 10-16" from surface of the bowl and candle holder and spray in a steady, back-and forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can in motion while spraying and apply 2 or more light coats a few minutes apart for best results.
- Allow the paint to dry for 24 hours before attaching the candle holder to the bottom of the dish with multi-purpose glue, like DAP adhesives.
- Fill with fall décor, and change it each season for a year-round display!
