  1. Tape around the basket planter at various intervals with different widths of tape. The exposed areas will be the first color you chose.
  2. Spread out the old sheet or drop cloth and place the large basket on it upside down.
  3. Using the first color you chose, spray the planter in large, sweeping, back-and-forth motions.
  4. Continue spraying and moving around the pot until all exposed basket sections are the first color you chose.
  5. Let dry for 1 hour.
  6. Remove painter’s tape.
  7. Place painter’s tape over the areas that will remain the first color you chose. The exposed areas will be the second color your chose.
  8. Using the spray paint, spray the basket in large, sweeping, back-and-forth motions until all exposed areas are the second color you chose.
  9. Let dry for 1 hour. 
  10. Turn upright and remove painter’s tape.
  11. Wait 24 hours for paint to dry completely.
  12. Place a plant inside and enjoy.
