    • Varathane Wood Stain
    • Varathane Polyurethane
    • Old Sheets or Drop Cloth
    • (16) 15" x 2" x 2" Pieces of Pressure-Treated Wood
    • Octagonal-Shaped Piece of Outdoor Plywood (6" sides)
    • Impact Driver or Cordless Screwdriver
    • Screws
    • Sandpaper
    • Tack Cloth

  1. Sand all wood pieces. Remove all dust using tack cloth.    
  2. Attach the 15" x 2" x 2" pieces to each side of the octagon using a screw. Allow for 1" spacing from the edge of the octagon for each side. Allow for 4" from top of wood pieces to attach plywood.    
  3. Spread out drop cloth. Stain all sides of the legs and plywood base. Allow to dry.  
  4. Apply polyurethane. Allow to dry. Repeat.  
  5. Place potted plant on top and enjoy!
