Painting kitchen cabinets with Rust-Oleum Cabinet Transformations is a great way to give your space a brand new look. See how we gave these golden oak cabinets an updated appearance at a fraction of the cost of replacing them.

  1. Make sure your cabinetry is thoroughly clean and dry.
  2. Remove all doors, drawers, hinges and knobs.
  3. Use the deglosser included in the Rust-Oleum Cabinet Transformations Kit, following the grain of the wood.
  4. Apply the kit’s bond coat, decorative glaze (optional) and topcoat, following the enclosed instructions for each step.
  5. Once the cabinet paint has fully cured, put the doors, drawers and hardware back in place.

Tip: Want to update your hardware? Paint your cabinet’s handles and knobs, too!
