Painting kitchen cabinets with Rust-Oleum Cabinet Transformations is a great way to give your space a brand new look. See how we gave these golden oak cabinets an updated appearance at a fraction of the cost of replacing them.
- Make sure your cabinetry is thoroughly clean and dry.
- Remove all doors, drawers, hinges and knobs.
- Use the deglosser included in the Rust-Oleum Cabinet Transformations Kit, following the grain of the wood.
- Apply the kit’s bond coat, decorative glaze (optional) and topcoat, following the enclosed instructions for each step.
- Once the cabinet paint has fully cured, put the doors, drawers and hardware back in place.
Tip: Want to update your hardware? Paint your cabinet’s handles and knobs, too!
