A framed heart is a fun way to showcase your love for that special someone – and display it year-round. Learn how to make your own red picture frame in just a few easy steps.

  1. Find a spot outside and cover nearby items with drop cloths or old sheets to protect from spray paint mist.
  2. Wipe off the picture frame using a lint-free cloth.
  3. Apply Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Satin Spray Paint in Claret Wine or the color of your choice. Hold the paint can 12” to 14” from the surface. Press the spray trigger and begin covering the surface in a steady, back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke.

  4. Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart. For best results, apply multiple light coats versus one heavy coat.
  5. Once dry, insert a special photograph. Your heart frame is now ready to display or gift!
