Looking to upgrade your Easter basket? A personalized chalkboard pot is the perfect way to deliver candy and more.

After applying a few light coats of Rust-Oleum Chalkboard Paint to a clean terra cotta pot, let the paint cure for at least 24 hours. Then, rub the side of a piece of chalk over the entire painted surface to condition the chalkboard. Wipe away the chalk with a chalkboard eraser or dry cloth.

Give your chalkboard pots a personal touch by writing names and adding other designs with chalk and filling them with the recipient’s favorite candy.
