This easy DIY project is quick and provides the "wow" factor you've been looking to add in your bathroom. Extra storage is always needed and these inexpensive shelves will do the trick!

  1. Wipe the unfinished shelves with a lint-free cloth to get rid of any loose dust, dirt or debris.
  2. Over a protected surface, use the sponge brushes to liberally apply wood stain to the unfinished shelves.
  3. Let the wood stain sit for a few minutes until the desired color is reached.
  4. Wipe off the excess wood stain and let the piece dry for approximately 1 hour.
  5. With a clean sponge brush, apply a liberal coat of polyurethane over the wood stain for long-lasting protection.
  6. Let the polyurethane coat dry for approximately 1 hour.
  7. Hang your shelves where they are most needed.
