Perfect for date night or when guests visit! Make this easy snack caddy with Varathane and fill it with your favorite treats. Easily portable and handy, this caddy will be used over and over again. See this project on The Awesome Orange Instagram page.

Cut one 5.5” x 72” cedar fence picket to create two end pieces that are 5 1/2” wide x 5 1/2” long. Cut/drill 1” hole on each side approximately 1” down in middle of each side. Cut six side slats that are 1 1/2” wide x 17 1/4” long and three bottom slats that are 1 1/2” wide x 16” long.

Sand each piece of wood to create a smooth surface. Apply wood stain to the end pieces before assembly following the directions on the can. Allow the stain to dry completely.

Assemble the pieces to form a caddy using wood glue and 1 1/4” 18 gauge brad nails.

Seal entire piece with at least two coats of polyurethane, according to the directions on the can. The polyurethane finish adds durability and protects your caddy from stains and scratches.
