  1. Glue trim pieces together in desired design—it’s okay if the final design is asymmetrical in size and shape because it will be cut to size.
  2. Once dry, cut around each edge at a 45-degree angle with a miter saw to create evenly sized triangles.
  3. Glue triangles together against the long edges to create a square medallion, and allow it to dry.
  4. Apply primer to the wood, and allow it to dry.
  5. Apply spray paint evenly on each square, and allow it to dry. Repeat if extra coats are necessary.
  6. Hang it on the wall.
