    • Old Sheets or Drop Cloth
    • Sandpaper
    • Tack Cloth
    • Paper towels
    • Table Saw
    • Miter saw
    • 4" x 4" Wood Post
    • Black Permanent Marker

  1. Cut different rooftop shapes into blocks of wood, or purchase pre-made wooden houses from a craft store.
  2. Sand the roughness from all edges and surfaces, and wipe away sanding dust.
  3. Working over an old sheet or drop cloth, apply light coats of Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Flat Spray Paint to each house. Let dry.
  4. Draw windows and doors on house fronts using permanent marker. Let dry.
  5. Sand all edges and surfaces, exposing raw wood on edges.
  6. Use a paper towel to apply Rust-Oleum Ultimate Wood Stain to all surfaces. Remove excess stain with a clean paper towel.
  7. Once the wood houses are dry, put them on display.
