    • Old Lamp With Paper Shade
    • Glue
    • Paintbrush
    • Drop Cloth Or Old Sheet
    • Plum Colored Decorative Braid
    • Steel Wool Or Sandpaper
    • Small Plumb Colored Tassle

  1. Find a spot outdoors and cover nearby items with a drop cloth to protect them from spay mist
  2. Following directions in the American Accents® Crackle Creations Kit, apply the crackle base coat to the lamp base and let dry.
  3. Once the base is dry, spray on the crackle top coat and watch the magic start to happen. Apply a thicker top coat for bigger crackles or a thin top coat for little crackles. Let dry.
  4. Tape off the outside of the paper shade and paint the inside with the American Accents® Designer Metallic Spray color of your choice. Let dry.
  5. Tape off the inside of the shade and paint the outside with Rust-Oleum® Painter's® Touch Ultra Cover 2X Satin Spray Canyon Black. Let dry.
  6. Glue braid and tassel to outside of shade for that extra special look.
  7. Put the lamp back together and set in your favorite little corner.
