Bring the hauntings to your tablescape with scary Halloween props painted in a black and white theme with hints of metallic and red. A full-sized faux skeleton gives a creepy vibe to your meal.

Table: Clean the table and lightly sand it to scuff the surface and dust off any loose sanding residue with a lint-free cloth.

Over a drop cloth, and using a high-quality paint brush, apply Chalked Paint to the table following the directions on the can. Add a second coat, if desired, after 2 hours.

Let the last coat dry for 8 hours and apply the Chalked protective top coat according to the instructions on the can.

Chairs: Clean the chairs and lightly sand them to scuff the surface and dust off any loose sanding residue with a lint-free cloth.

Over a drop cloth, apply spray paint in Claret Wine to the chair. Start by spray painting the underside of the chair, following the directions on the can. Let it dry and then flip the chair over to spray paint the top side.

Let each chair dry for 1 hour before handling and 24 hours before use.

Halloween props:  Make sure each prop is clean and dry. Lightly scuff any glossy surfaces so the paint adheres better.

Over a drop cloth, start applying spray paint to each prop as directed on the can. Follow you own theme for color.

Let each prop dry for 1 hour before handling.
