If your bathroom is mostly neutral in color, add a bit of shine with Universal Metallic Gilded Brass on a metal basket. Spray painting is an easy and inexpensive way to update your look.

Step 1:  Clean the surface of the basket and allow it to thoroughly dry. Remove loose paint and rust, if present, with a wire brush or sandpaper. Wipe any sanding residue with a lint-free cloth.

Step 2: Shake can vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Slide off the red safety clip from the trigger.

Step 3: Hold can upright 8-12” from surface and spray in a steady back-and forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can the same distance from the surface and in motion while spraying. Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart. For best results, apply several light coats versus one heavy coat.

Step 4: Allow the paint to dry thoroughly. It dries to touch in 30 minutes, to handle in 1 hour, and is fully dry in 24 hours. Recoat within 1 hour or after 48 hours.
