A candlestick and platter will become a great-looking food stand at your fiesta taco bar party. Serve your cheese, salsa or any other taco toppings from this homemade item and create a festive look.

Step 1: Make sure your platter and candlestick are clean and dry. Shake the spray paint can vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball starts to rattle.

Step 2: Start by spraying the platter and the candlestick with slow, sweeping motions, overlapping each stroke to get the best coverage. Let paint dry at least 30 minutes between coats and at least 1 hour before handling.

Step 3: Once the platter and candlestick are dry, use hot glue to attach the platter to the candlestick and the tassel ribbon to the edge of the platter. Let glue dry at least 15 minutes before use.

Step 4: Allow paint to fully cure (5-7 days) before use. Make sure to place contact paper down between the fully cured paint and any food.

TIP: Do not place food directly onto the platter.
