  1. Remove any debris or rust with sandpaper and/or wire brush.
  2. Clean surface with soap and water.
  3. Apply one coat of the Rust-Oleum® Stops Rust® Primer to the planters. As always, follow manufacturer's recommendations on preparation, application, drying times and clean up.
  4. Apply one coat of the Rust-Oleum® Stops Rust® Dark Bronze Metallic Spray or the color of your choice. Apply 2 or more light coats a few minutes apart. Apply one light coat followed by one heavy coat for best appearance.
  5. Change florals on a seasonal basis to keep your entryway fresh and appealing.
