Whether it's tea or lemonade, label your flavored beverages with these simple DIY signs at your next party. Chalk Board spray paint makes it easy to reuse the signs for future gatherings.
PREPARE: Make sure the workable hardboard surface is clean and dry. Apply Painter's Tape to any areas of the wood board you don't want to paint. Shake the primer can for one minute until the metal ball rattles. Over a drop cloth, hold can 10-12"" from surface and spray in steady motions, overlapping each stroke. Apply a second coat of primer or Painter’s Touch 2X Ultra Cover Enamel within 1 hour or after 24 hours.
APPLY: Apply Specialty Chalk Board spray in slow and steady, back-and-forth motions slightly overlapping each stroke for 2-3 light, even coats, until the surface is fully covered. Hold the can 10-12"" from the surface while spraying and keep the can in motion.
FINISH: Allow paint to dry for 24 hours. Prepare the chalkboard surface by rubbing side of chalk on entire surface and erase.
