This impressive before and after project is shared by a member of Rust-Oleum’s Creator’s Studio who used spray paint to transform an old light fixture into a one-of-a-kind chandelier for her friend’s boutique. Here’s how she brought this tired lamp back to life.

To begin, she sanded the entire fixture with #220 grit sandpaper to smooth its surface and provide a blemish-free base for the spray paint. Then, she primed the light fixture with Filler Primer Spray to cover any inconsistencies in the lamp’s texture and to create an even base. To top it off, she applied a glossy topcoat with Stops Rust Protective Enamel in Gloss Black, and added beading, feathers, and new glass shades as a stylish final touch. Once everything was in place, her new chandelier was officially boutique-ready!
