Miter saw

Painter's tape

- Roll bamboo shades up and cut with miter saw to 3 equal lengths. (Ours are each 12".)
- Using painter’s tape, tape off stripes at varying angles.
- Apply three light, misting coats of paint, pausing several minutes between coats. Let dry.
- Remove painter’s tape.
- Add string and hang on wall.
