COMPLETED PROJECT

Give a decorative vase a pop of color with just a few coats of Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint.

  1. Before you begin spray painting, make sure the vase is thoroughly clean and dry.
  2. Working in a well-ventilated space, apply Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover White Spray Primer, following the directions on the can. A coat of white paint primer provides a great base for your color and gives your project a longer-lasting finish.
  3. After the primer has dried for 20 minutes, apply Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint (we used Gloss Purple). For best coverage, apply several light coats rather than one heavy coat of paint.
  4. Topcoat the vase with Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Clear within 1 hour or after 48 hours.
