Add the hint of a darker trendy color with some spray paint on a straw basket. Create a stylish geometric pattern and use your basket for organization in a bedroom.
Before starting, always work in a well-ventilated area and cover the floor with a drop cloth to protect it from overspray. You'll want to tape off any areas you don't want to paint.
Shake the spray paint for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Then, hold the can 10-16” away and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion. Apply 2-3 light coats a few minutes apart.
Let everything dry for 1 hour to the touch and completely for 24 hours.
