When you spray paint, something happens right before your eyes. Transformation! Update candlesticks to match your current décor with a Stops Rust neutral such as Coastal Gray.
To begin, always work in a well-ventilated area and cover the floor with a drop cloth to protect the area from overspray.
Shake the spray paint can for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Hold it upright 10-16" from surface and start spraying in a steady back-and forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Apply 2-3 light coats on your light fixtures a few minutes apart. The paint will be dry to the touch in 2-4 hours, to handle in 5-9 hours, and fully dry in 24 hours.
Apply a second coat or clear coat within 1 hour or after 48 hours.
