A Mason jar is the perfect place to display a snowman figurine and some artificial snow. Give it some color and look at your beautiful winter scene anytime you like!
- Working over a drop cloth, spray the jar lid with Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch® 2X Ultra Cover® spray paint in Satin Apple Red. Let it dry for about 1 hour before handling.
- Use painter’s tape to mark off a rectangular area on the outside of the jar. This will be your viewing window. Spray white Rust-Oleum Glitter lightly around the outside of the jar. Let dry for approximately 20 minutes.
- Spray more white Glitter paint around ½” to 1” around the jar rim. Use cotton swabs to dot glitter snowflakes around the jar. Let dry again for approximately 20 minutes.
- All glitter will be dry to handle in 1 hour and fully dry in 24 hours.
- Using Rust-Oleum Glitter Clear Sealer, spray over the glitter according to the directions on the can.
- Using hot glue, adhere the snowman figure and tree to the underside of the jar lid.
- Add a small amount of artificial snow to the bottom of the jar.
- Screw the painted lid onto the jar, flip it over and put on display.
TIP: This snow globe is not meant to be shaken.
