SNOWFLAKE GARLAND

Create a show-stopping snowflake garland for your fireplace mantle or Christmas tree. All it takes are wooden snowflakes from a dollar store and Rust-Oleum Imagine Color Shift Spray Paint! See how Melanie from Southern Crush At Home created this color-shifting snowflake garland.

  1. Working in a well-ventilated space, shake your can of Rust-Oleum Imagine Color Shift Black Basecoat Spray Paint and apply to the wooden snowflakes, following the directions on the can. Let dry.
  2. Apply Rust-Oleum Imagine Color Shift Spray Paint in the color of your choice over the black basecoat (Turquoise Waters was used here). Hold the can 16” from the surface of your snowflakes and apply in a steady, back-and-forth motion, keeping the can the same distance from the surface. Apply a few light coats a few minutes apart for best results.
  3. Once the painted snowflakes are dry, attach rhinestone embellishments with DAP adhesives. Then string your snowflakes with twine or a ribbon of your choice and hang your color-shifting snowflake garland.
