A fresh coat of paint and new or painted hardware will turn an old desk into something amazing. Try your hand at spray painting a desk and you'll find it's an easy way to update a piece of outdated furniture.
PREPARE: Always work in a well-ventilated area and cover the floor with a drop cloth to protect it from overspray. Remove all old hardware.
PAINT: Shake your can of Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint (we used Gloss Pink Peony) for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Then, hold the can 8-12” away from the chair and spray in a steady, back-and-forth motion. Apply 2-3 light coats of the spray paint to the entire chair a few minutes apart.
PAINT HARDWARE: Change up the look of your existing the hardware with spray paint.
FINISH: Let the paint dry completely for 24 hours before installing new or painted hardware.
TIP: Before painting, apply Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Primer in White, and after spray painting, topcoat with Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Clear for added protection.
