So, you found a solid headboard second hand. But now what? Spray paint it, that's what! Midnight Blue is just the color to bring into your bedroom with a new-to-you headboard.
PREPARE: Lightly sand the headboard to remove any existing loose paint and to lightly scuff the surface.
Always work in a well-ventilated area and cover the floor with a drop cloth to protect it from overspray.
PAINT: Shake the spray paint for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Then, hold the can 8-12” away from the chair and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion. Apply 2-3 light coats to the entire chair a few minutes apart.
FINISH: Let everything dry completely for 24 hours.
TIP: Use of a primer & topcoat provides added protection and longer-lasting color. We recommend 2X Ultra Cover Primer in White and Clear Topcoat.
